Entry-Level Tax Preparer (May 2026 Graduates)

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented May 2026 graduates to join our growing tax team as Entry-Level Tax Preparers. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers in public accounting and gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare individual and basic business tax returns (Forms 1040 and related schedules)
Assist with data entry, reconciliation, and organization of client financial records
Support senior staff with tax filings and compliance processes
Conduct basic tax research under supervision
Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation
Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (expected graduation: May 2026)
Basic knowledge of tax concepts and accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during next tax season

Preferred Qualifications

Internship or coursework related to taxation are welcome
Familiarity with tax software and Quickbooks
Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional certifications
